Ross County are the most northern senior football club in the United Kingdom and are a very strong community club. The General Manager of the club Ranald Gilbert was very enthusiastic about starting up a DSA and after a couple of meetings the Staggies Disabled Supporters Club was launched last month.
The picture below shows Ranald and myself standing behind Sharon McKaskie (secretary of the SDSA and Motherwell Disabled Supporters Club) at one of the start-up meetings with a good turnout of Staggies fans.
At the launch meeting a committee of ten was formed with all office bearer posts filled with Martin Melvin taking the lead chairman role.
Well done to our fellow disabled fans in the North.
