Terrible headline I know however we have now helped launch the Jags Disabled Supporters Club. This was made possible with the support of the club, the Jags Trust and Ian Bateman (newly appointed Supporters Liaison Officer)

The “team” lined up before the meeting as you can see from the feature picture on our home page.

Excellent progress was made with Keith (chairman of the SDSA) joining the new office bearers for a picture at the end of the meeting. At the back is Dougie McInnes who has taken on the secretary’s role and Victoria Blair who will be the treasurer. At the front on the left is Mark Rowantree who has volunteered to be vice-chairman backing up chairman Jim Berney on the right .

Supporters Direct Scotland National Football Survey Published

The Supporters Direct Scotland National Football Survey in association with the Scottish FA is now out and available to complete from our website at

The survey seeks to bring a greater understanding of supporters’ perceptions of football’s role within Scottish society, the match day experience, governance of the game as well as grassroots and youth development, among other topics.

Whilst in the North on other football related business Keith Ferguson from the SDSA was welcomed by Elgin City F.C. chairman Graham Tatters as the club was very interested in finding out about the SDSA.

The club are keen to set up a small DSA and a keen fan of the club, Brian Eason, will from now on represent Elgin City disabled fans as well as organising the group.
