MAYBE GREENOCK MORTON ONSIDE?

As you can tell by the picture it was summertime when we held initial discussions with Morton fans on setting up a DSA. Peter Kelly (far right)  is driving this and gave an update 29th October “that things are slowly moving in the right direction” so watch this space.

NEW WHEELCHAIR AREAS AT HAMPDEN PARK

Keith Ferguson (chairman of the SDSA) was invited along with many other organisations to a walk through of the National Stadium before the Commonwealth Games Athletics took place.

Photographs were taken however certain restrictions regarding publishing had to be agreed to. However below you will see photographs of the two permanent wheelchair areas built in the North Stand and one of the accessible toilets which are both very nearby. For football matches I believe both platforms will accommodate 7 wheelchairs with seats alongside for PA’s.

Let’s keep up the campaign to have more than two permanent elevated wheelchair platforms installed.
