A survey has been published recently, to gauge the opinion of disabled people on the current practices in terms of ‘proof of disability’ requirements when purchasing disabled fans match tickets for national and international sporting events.
The survey forms parts of a research project being undertaken by the European-wide charity, Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) in association with the German Sports Institute of Cologne.
It is expected that the outcomes of the project, which is funded by the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport, Council of Europe, will provide conclusive recommendations to assist international sporting event owners in delivering an improved ticketing system for both disabled sports fans and tournament operators in the future.
The survey is available in English, French, German, Polish, Russian and Spanish – please click on your preferred language to open the relevant version. Please circulate the survey amongst your fellow fans and colleagues and please be sure to complete the survey before 17.00 (CET) by 1st October 2013.
If you would like help in completing this confidential survey, please do contact CAFE at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call +44 (0)1244 893 586, and we will be pleased to assist you.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
