Dundee United disabled fans were one of the first groups to form a new DSA back in the early days however regrettably it fell by the wayside a bit once Ken Lowrie, who took the lead, returned to Northern Ireland. Gordon Hird and Brian Hewat continued to attend the SDSA meetings however a breakthrough in getting the club’s support came about when David Southern was appointed General Manager followed by Moira Hughes taking on, amongst others, the role of Disability Access Officer.

An open meeting was held recently at Tannadice with an excellent turn out as you can see from the picture. Welcome back to the S.D.S.A
